Clinical photographs may form part of your treatment documentation and may be used for clinical assessment, treatment planning, monitoring treatment progress, comparison of outcomes and maintenance of an appropriate clinical record.
Where clinical photographs are required, the purpose of the photographs, how they will be used and stored, and who may have access to them will be explained to you. Appropriate consent will be obtained for the taking, use and storage of clinical photographs.
Clinical photographs will be securely stored as part of your patient record and will not be stored on a practitioner’s personal device.
Consent to clinical photography for treatment and record-keeping purposes is separate from consent for advertising, social media or marketing purposes.
Face Forward Aesthetics will not use your clinical photographs for advertising, social media, website content or other promotional purposes without obtaining separate and specific consent where such use is permitted.
You may decline to have your photographs used for advertising or promotional purposes without this affecting your treatment.
Where adequate clinical photography is considered necessary by the treating practitioner for the safe and appropriate documentation of a particular procedure, and you do not consent to those photographs being taken and securely retained for that clinical purpose, Face Forward Aesthetics may be unable to proceed with the procedure.
